Obituary -- a Commerce Oklahoma merchant, died in a sanitarium in Clinton Oklahoma this morning. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mitchelson funeral home, Commerce, is in charge.

Obituary -- Funeral services for Dewey Halteman, former Commerce merchant who died Tuesday in the Clinton sanitarium, will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at the Commerce Christian church. The Rev. C. C. Cockrum will officiate. Masonic lodge No. 493 will be in charge of rites. Mr. Halteman is survived by wife Elsie Halteman; his mother, Ella Halteman; two brothers, Collis Halteman of Fort Smith, and Quince Halteman of Cardin Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Ash of Venus California and Mrs. Novice Meadows of Spiro Oklahoma. Note: Miami Oklahoma G.A.R. cemetery book gives the name as George Dewey Halteman.
