Abstract Data

Obituary -- Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the First Baptist church for Clinton Guinn, 20 years old, who died Friday night at Hutchinson Kansas, of pneumonia. He left here several weeks ago to hitch-hike to California and was taken ill en route. He started to return home and became worse at Hutchinson, where he was ill for several days before he died. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Etta Morgan; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Pahunka and Mrs. Ira Frisbie, and three brothers, Henry Guinn, Bill Grinn and George Guinn. The Rev. I. E. Taylor officiated. Pallbearers were: Dee Gordon, Alva Austin, Virgil Stainer, Virgil Kennedy, Bill Lewis, Ralph Stainer, Aubert Sidwell and George Ray. Burial was in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce.
