Garrett, James "Jim"

Obituary -- 26 years old, Commerce Oklahoma, man who died at 11:25 pm Christmas night in a Joplin Missouri hospital, will be conducted at 2:30 pm Tuesday at the First Baptist church at Commerce. The Rev. Grover Scales will officiate. Garrett, who lived at 100 North Cedar street, is survived by his wife, Lorena Garrett, his father, Frank Garrett of Miami Route 2; five brothers, Matt Garrett of St. Paul Kansas; Fred Garrett of Bakersfield California, Corbett Garrett of Quapaw Oklahoma, Bob Garrett of Fairland Oklahoma, and Hiram Harn' Garrett, also of Quapaw; four sisters, Mrs. Elza Hale of Commerce, Mrs. Willard Havens of Quapaw, Mrs. Alfonso Greenback of Miami Route 2, and Mrs. Mayo Whitecrow of Commerce. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of the Mitchelson funeral home, Commerce. Note: See mother Vesta Elizabeth Garrett.
