Obituary -- Commerce Oklahoma Dec 29 Hope had been abandoned at Miami Baptist hospital tonight for the life of Harley Daniels, about 40 years of age, of Commerce Oklahoma, who slipped and fell while hunting near Diamond Missouri, Friday afternoon, receiving a serious injury to his stomach. Daniels was reported to have said he slipped and in the fall felt a sharp pain in his abdomen. A physician was of the opinion, however, that a ruptured stomach led to the fall. He was rushed to Miami Baptist hospital at 3:30 am Saturday in a Mitchelson ambulance. He underwent a major operation there today, a last effort to save Daniels' life. Daniels lives at 508 North Quincy street.

Obituary -- Harley A. Daniels, 40 years old, of Commerce, died at 3:30 am Sunday at Miami Baptist hospital. He had received a severe injury to his stomach in a fall near Diamond Missouri, Friday afternoon. He was an employee at the Bird Dog Mine. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Daniels; three daughters, Ruth Daniels, Faye Daniels and Virginia Daniels; three sons, Howard Daniels, Eugene Daniels and Paul Daniels; his mother Mrs. Mary Daniels; four brothers, Wilburn Daniels of Columbus Kansas, Horace Daniels of North Century Oklahoma, Alfred Daniels and Albert Daniels, both of Commerce, and three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Allen of Colorado Springs Colorado, Mrs. Ada Webber of St. Paul Kansas, and Mrs. Mary Choate of Commerce. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce, is in charge.

Obituary -- Funeral services for Harley A. Daniels were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Assembly of God church. The Rev. Harry Rogers, officiated and burial was made in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under the direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company.
