Cronwell, Angie

Angie Cronwell, about 24 years old, died at 9 last night at Baptist hospital as a result of injuries he received at 2 Saturday afternoon when he was struck by a falling boulder while at work in the Beaver Mine in west Cardin Oklahoma. Death resulted from a fractured skull. The miner also suffered a broken leg and he was brought to the hospital in a serious condition in an ambulance of the Todd undertaking company, Picher Oklahoma. The youth is believed to have been in the district only a short time, coming from his home in Colorado. He has been boarding in Commerce Oklahoma while working in the mines as a machine man's helper. The body was taken to the morgue of the Todd Company in Picher last night, and funeral arrangements will be held up pending word from relatives.

The body of Angie Cronwell, 17 years old, who died as a result of an accident at the Beaver Mine Saturday, was sent to the home of his parents at Albuquerque New Mexico, Monday afternoon by the Mitchelson undertaking company. Note age discrepancy.
