Obituary -- Funeral services for Paul Coffey, 32 year old Seminole oil field worker and former Commerce resident, who was killed early Friday in a shooting, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Cardin Baptist church. The Rev. J. E. Wilson will officiate. Coffey, also a one time resident of Cardin Oklahoma, was shot by a man, now held at Seminole in a hotel, over what was believed to have been jealousy. The victim was shot twice, it was reported at Commerce. Bullets penetrated the chin and left chest. Coffey is survived by his wife, Opal Coffey; one daughter, Pauline Coffey, of Kansas City, and his mother, Mrs. Dora Huddleston of Cardin. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company.

Obituary -- Word was received at Cardin yesterday of the fatal shooting of Paul Coffey, 33 years old. Coffey had resided at Cardin most of his life going to Seminole several months ago, where he was employed in the oil field. Details of the shooting other than that he was shot twice, once in the chin and through the heart, could not be learned. Coffey is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nora Huddleston; his step-father, Hud Huddleston, and one daughter, Pauline Coffey, all of Cardin. The Mitchelson undertaking company of Commerce returned the body to Cardin late Friday night and will have charge of the funeral. Note: One article had the mother's name as Dora and another one had the name as Nora.
