Obituary -- 17 years old, died Thursday afternoon in a tuberculosis sanitarium at Clinton Oklahoma, where she had been confined for the last year. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Russell Williams of Oklahoma City Oklahoma; three brothers, Gerald Cardin of Fort Bliss Texas, Byrl Cardin and Russell Cardin of Oklahoma City; an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C. Leonard of Commerce Oklahoma, the girl's guardians. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cardin, who lived in Commerce at one time, are both dead. Miss Cardin was reared in the Old Fellows home at Carmen Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian church. The Rev. C. C. Cockrum will officiate. Burial will be in the G.A.R. cemetery under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce. Pallbearers will be: Claude Wilcox, Jr., Paul McBrien, Mervin Woodward, John Burgey, Herschel Martin and Paul Chambers.
