Paden, Edna

Edna Paden - age 42, died at 5:45 o'clock this morning at the home of a sister, Mrs. W. O. Fain, East Fourth street, Baxter Springs Kansas, following a long illness. Miss Paden had lived in Baxter for 10 years. She was a member of the Baptist church, and active in church work. She was born in Boone county Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist church, of Baxter. The Rev. H. Ellis Ogden will officiate. Burial will be in the Baxter Springs cemetery, under direction of Harvey funeral home. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Veraetta Good of Wellsville Kansas, Mrs. Cora Fuller of Des Moines Iowa, Mrs. Cynthia Jones of Britton Oklahoma, and Mrs. Velma Fain of Baxter; and four brothers, Walter W. Paden of Olvey Arkansas, Oscar Paden of Council Hills Oklahoma, Otis Paden of Arcadia California, and Earl Paden of Oklahoma City.
