Ball, Wilbur L.

Wilbur L. Ball, of Miami was born east of Spring River Bridge near Miami. His early youth was spent in Gravette Arkansas, then moved Elm Creek community, east of Miami, while still a young boy, where his father farmed and worked in the hard rock lead and zinc mines as a carpenter. Married Katheleen Nadine Wright in 1939 and celebrated more than 50 yeas of marriage before her death in 1992. A brother, Bernard Ball of Miami died one day before the death of Wilbur L. Ball.
