Mayberry, Charles Hubert

Charles H. Mayberry - 'Pete' Mayberry, 27 years old, a hard rock lead and zinc miner, died Wednesday morning in the Will Rogers veteran's hospital at Oklahoma City. He resided at East Ninth street, and had been a resident of Picher Oklahoma, all of his life. A veteran, he was in the Marines during World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Mayberry; three children, John Monroe Mayberry, Twyla Joan Mayberry and Donna Joyce Mayberry, all of the home; a brother, Joe Mayberry of Salina Kansas; and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Myers and Mrs. Lillie Wilson, Columbus Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Anna Gillespie of Picher. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas. Pallbearers will be Leroy Baron, Orville Burns, Robert Sedberry, Russell Hayward, Carol Box and Buster Luton.
