Abstract Data

Charles H. Mayberry - 'Pete' Mayberry, 27 years old, a hard rock lead and zinc miner, died Wednesday morning in the Will Rogers veteran's hospital at Oklahoma City. He resided at East Ninth street, and had been a resident of Picher Oklahoma, all of his life. A veteran, he was in the Marines during World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Mayberry; three children, John Monroe Mayberry, Twyla Joan Mayberry and Donna Joyce Mayberry, all of the home; a brother, Joe Mayberry of Salina Kansas; and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Myers and Mrs. Lillie Wilson, Columbus Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Anna Gillespie of Picher. Goodson-Durnil mortuary.
