Abstract Data

Howard B. Kelley - 'Blue' Kelley, 205 North Cedar, Commerce Oklahoma, died at 10:15 am Wednesday, Jan 1, 1997, at Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness. He was 96. Mr. Kelley was born Oct 1, 1900 in Blairsville Georgia, to Jack Kelley and Mary Brackett Kelley. He lived in the Commerce area since 1981, moving there from North Miami Oklahoma. Mr. Kelley was a superintendent for the Fenix Sisson Construction Company, Tulsa, and also superintendent of a hard rock lead and zinc mining company in Picher Oklahoma. He married Allie Chastain on Apr 1, 1917, at Blairsville. She preceded him in death on Nov 18, 1991. He was also preceded in death by a son, Norman Kelley, and a daughter, Leona Williams. Survivors include a son, Beuford Kelley, Commerce. Paul Thomas funeral home, Picher Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas.
