Claude Ernest Brown - 57 year old hard rock lead and zinc miner, died in a Thomas funeral home ambulance while on his way to a tuberculosis sanitarium in Talihina Oklahoma at about midnight last night. A resident of Douthat Oklahoma since 1944. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie Brown of the home; five sons, Albert Lee Brown, stationed with an army unit at Fort Bliss Texas; Vern Brown and Claude W. Brown, both of Dallas Texas, and Harry Brown and Ernest Brown, both of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Delma Simpson of Hockerville Oklahoma, Miss Vera Brown of Oklahoma City Oklahoma and Miss Betty Brown of the home; three brothers, Floyd Brown of Fort Smith Arkansas, Troy Brown of Foster Oklahoma, and Fred Brown of Fort Worth Texas; three sisters, Miss Minnie Brown of Foster, Mrs. Millie Moore of Pauls Valley Oklahoma, and Mrs. Verdie Beeson of Marlow Oklahoma, and two grandchildren. Arrangements for services and burial are incomplete.
