Lucille Abernathy - of Miami died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday, Mar 30, 2003, at Joplin Missouri. She was 83.

born Jun 17, 1919, in Galena Kansas, to Logan Woods and Hazel Wyatt Woods. She was a lifelong resident of the Miami area. She was employed by King Louie, Burlington Mfg. and the Parsons Ammunition Plant in Kansas. Married Raymond Otis Abernathy in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1962. Burial at Greenlawn cemetery, northwest of Treece Kansas. Paul Thomas funeral home of Miami.
