Wiford, Perry Austin

Perry Austin Wiford - of Miami died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003, at a local nursing home. He was 90. Wiford was born Sept. 26, 1912, in Fairland to Austin and Laura Crockett Wiford. He lived in the Miami and Quapaw areas for many years. He was a farmer and had worked for Ray Gaine's Purina Feed Store and for Farmers Co-op, both in Baxter Springs Kansas, for many years. He married Clarice Elinor Shelton on April 13, 1931, in Miami, she survives, of the home. Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami. Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens cemetery in Miami.
