Carl H. Pollard - age 80, of Miami died Oct 19, 2001, at a Joplin Missouri hospital. Born Jun 30, 1921, at Elm Springs Arkansas to Hugh D. Pollard and Maudie Littlefield Pollard. He had lived in Miami since 1930, moving from Alina. He was superintendent of schools for Watts, Bluejacket and Quapaw Oklahoma, and was also Ottawa county Oklahoma school superintendent for six years. Married to Barbara A. Weaver Pollard.
