born Sep 28, 1913, in Ray county Missouri to John Myers and Maude Wise Myers. He lived in the Miami area most of his life. A veteran, he served in the Army during World War II. He received a bronze star, A Silver Star, an air medal and an air medal with oak leaf cluster. A former hard rock lead and zinc miner and a farmer and stockman. Married Karl Ellen Smith on Oct 11, 1941, in Commerce Oklahoma, she survives. Paul Thomas funeral home in Miami. Burial in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens cemetery, east of Miami.
