Gladys Matthews - of Miami died at 8:22 a.m. Wednesday, Feb 12, 2003, at Eastwood Manor Nursing Center in Commerce Oklahoma. She was 95. Matthews was born June 25, 1907, in Indian Territory to James Lewis Moxley and Dora Thomas Moxley. She worked as a cook for Tucker's Cafe and a sewing machine operator for both Patterson and Glen Berry companies. She married John Frank Matthews on Jan 11, 1958. He preceded her in death in 1991. Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home in Miami. Burial will be in Glenn-Abbey Memorial Gardens cemetery, east of Miami.
