born Dec 16, 1918, in Columbus Kansas to Amos Fry and Goldie Shields Fry. He lived in the Miami area for the past eight years, moving from Yakima Washington. He attended school in Baxter Springs Kansas and Columbus Kansas. A veteran, he served with the Merchant Marines in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Married Helen Maxine Potter on Jul 30, 1939, in Joplin Missouri, she survives. Burial in Glen Abbey memorial Gardens cemetery, east of Miami.
