Born Oct 6, 1949, in Baxter Springs Kansas to Eugene Welch and Ellen Douglas Welch. She lived in the Quapaw area most of her life. She was valedictorian of the 1968 graduating class of Quapaw high school. Married Roy Beard on Jun 14, 1966, he survivors. Burial in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens at Miami.
