Lon Lee Scott, widely known throughout the Tri-State hard rock lead and zinc mining district as a mill carpenter contractor, died suddenly at his home, 209 North Maple street, Commerce, at 12:30 o'clock Sunday morning of acute indigestion. Mr. Scott had been ill for several months. Entering the mill building business at Webb City, Mo., his former home, Mr. Scott followed the development of the zinc mining area into Oklahoma and has lived in or near Commerce since 1916. Mr. Scott was in charge of carpenter work on dozens of Ottawa county mills dating from the construction of the Ramage Mill, about 17 years ago. He was last employed at the Eagle-Picher Mill. Ottawa county Scottish Rite Masons will hold special fraternal services at midnight tonight at the Commerce Christian church. Regular funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church with burial in the G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.. Spouse Mayme M. Edwards Scott
