name as: Fred William Schomaker age 79, of Fairland Oklahoma. Died Miami born Perry Oklahoma and graduated from the Perry school in 1940 A veteran, entered the service with the Okla National Guard 45th Infantry Division and served during World War II as a master sergeant and forward observer in the European Theatre Operation. He received the Silver Star and Bronze Service Stars and was a prisoner of war in Germany. He later served in the reserves and had as total of 19 years of service He worked 35 years for Amoco Oil Production Company in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas until retirement in 1980, when he moved to Fairland spouse Rose E. Steffens Schomaker, survives married Nov 30, 1947
