Audra I. Hunter Mahurin, lifetime resident of Fairland Oklahoma, died at Osborne Care & Rehab Center in Miami, early Friday morning, June 26, 2009, after an illness. She was 91. She was born Feb 27, 1918, to Bob Hunter and Myrtle Hill Hunter, at Fairland. Audra married Ray Mahurin on May 14, 1935. Ray preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by baby boy Mahurin, son Kenneth L. Mahurin and a daughter Betty Jean Mahurin Snow. Surviving her is four sons and their wives, Bob and Opal Mahurin of Fairland, Art and Barbara Mahurin of Miami, Melvin and Phyllis Mahurin of Wyandotte, Richard and Teresa Mahurin of Chouteau; two daughters and their husbands, Anita and Tom Waggoner of Fairland, and Shirley and Lee Wilmoth of Grove; two brothers and their wives, Alvin and Fawn Hunter of Miami, and George and Kathy Hunter of Grove; a sister and her husband, May and Leon Burris of Fairland, twenty grandchildren, forty-six great-grand children, and seven great-great-grandchildren
