He was a resident of Fairland Oklahoma for the last 42 years, died at his home in Fairland at 9 am today following an extended illness Preceded in death by his parents father Martin Silas Mahurin and mother Sophia Palmer Mahurin his siblings James Martin Mahurin; Laura Elizabeth Mahurin,; Edward Lilburn Mahurin; Margie Bell Mahurin Goble; Silas Alva Mahurin and Anna Veona Mahurin Survivors include his wife, Luella J. Mahurin; five sons, Roscoe H., Rupert and Ray Mahurin, all of Fairland; Truman Mahurin, Afton Oklahoma, and Howard Mahurin, Olympias Washing; three brothers. Stephen Jasper Mahurin, Fairland; H. B. Mahurin, Gibbons Nebraska, and Leslie Theodore Mahurin, Washington, D.C; two sisters Mrs Bertha Lee Mahurin Palmer, Brookfield Missouri and Mrs. Bessie Alene Mahurin Bassett, Kansas City Missouri
