There was a reason God took little Zak
that plan we do not know
But one day I will see him again,
for I know where I want to go
I think what hurt most is not seeing him grow into
a teenager, a senior, and a dad
But knowing he passed away with Jesus in his heart,
that I will always be glad
Zak, there is not a day, hour, or minute goes by
that you are not thought of
You touched a lot of lives your short time on earth,
and with that you will always be, missed and loved
